Going Underground

Postby Geoff P » Wed Dec 02, 2009 7:10 pm

Those of you who avidly scan the club website on a nightly basis for the latest news and goss will have noticed a slight lack of results and match reports for the last couple of weeks, and are obviously worried about this?

Let me reassure you that this is not due to anything other than the fact that our illustrious webmaster has been spending last week and again this week otherwise engaged, hundreds of feet underground in a nuclear bunker "somewhere in the home counties".

(Just google HMS Warrior, Northwood, for full details.)

Ray and I suggested that email and the internet would surely be essential forms of communication in the event of a nuclear attack, so he could still update the website ?

Ian said he didn't know and he'd try to look for a wi-fi terminal. Unsuccessfully it seems.

Normal service will probably be restored when Ian eventually reaches the surface.
